G21 Aboriginal Employment Initiative Project
Looking for work or a career change? Wan-Yaari Aboriginal Consultancy services have partnered with some fantastic organisations in the region to increase Aboriginal employment under the G21 Aboriginal Employment Initiative Project. The project has received funding from the Australian Government, Department of Jobs and Small Business and will work closely with organisations, employment service providers and the Aboriginal community in the G21 region to achieve employment outcomes and targets for organisations and the Aboriginal Community.
Successful jobseekers will receive culturally appropriate post placement support through Wan-Yaari's '3 Fires Aboriginal Mentoring Program' for the first 13-26 weeks of employment.

Address: 713 High St Epping
Facilitated by Multicultural Arts Victoria, this is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people, share ideas and grow new opportunities. A partnership with Brotherhood of St Laurence Multicultural Communities Team.

The Barwon Regional Partnership is holding its next Regional Assembly on 19 July.
They are seeking input from residents on the unique challenges and opportunities faced within the region, and we invite as many of you as possible to attend. This is a great chance to get involved and be heard, and we would love to see the local indigenous community and their views represented.
Following the first Regional Assembly in 2016, priority areas were presented to the Victorian State Government, resulting in funding for a number of key projects. It is important that a broad range of views are presented to the Partnership and we would encourage you to spread the word to your friends, colleagues and families to get involved and have your say.
Giving the Barwon region a stronger voice within State Government through representatives from community, business and the three tiers of government
