Welcome to the APN Bulletin. My apologies for you not receiving one last Friday 7th Sep, I was on leave! This weeks' is a BIG bulletin.
GRLLEN is on the move
Oh no! The LLEN has to move premises (thanks developers) and as funding has not yet been clarified beyond 31/12/19, we are looking for a temporary home from 4/3/19.
We don’t need much space.
Just an office for Anne-Marie, some space for the admin coordinator and a hot desk room housing 2 computers. We have our own multi-function printer but we can share one if need be.
We have our own computers (4) and our own server.
We will need access to a storage room for our filing and access to meeting rooms and facilities (tea room – we have our own supplies – and toilets)
We can pay some rent (being a not-for-profit our budget for paying rent is not big) and are more than willing to do so.
We hope that you can help us find a new home. We will need a new home until at least 31/12/2019 and we will need to move from our current premises by 4/3/19 at the VERY latest. If we can find the right kind of arrangement we can move earlier than this.
We prefer to be at least close, if not within the CBD.
The Opening event will start at 6pm on Thursday 27th September at Neon Parlour Gallery situated at 791 High Street Thornbury. This is the Thursday before the Footy Grand Final.
There will be some great art on display and for sale, include a new range of tote bags that the artists have created.
The Heritage by Art Exhibition will be open from 11am, 26th September through to Saturday 29th September. Attached is a flyer of all the info, also the link below will give you any info about the event you need.
Supported by ABBTF (Australian Brick & Blocklaying Training Foundation), and being held at The Gordon's East Campus, this is a great opportunity for students and jobseekers to get some free training and a taste for bricklaying! There are currently shortages of apprentices Victoria-wide and across Geelong too, so there is huge demand for these kinds of skills.
